The Minnesota Vikings were 12-2 in 1969. They finished 1st in the Central Division and 1st in the Western Conference. They fell to the Kansas City Chiefs, 23 to 7, in Super Bowl IV on January 11, 1970. It was their first Super Bowl appearance.
